As guests move from the ceremony into the reception, the design becomes part of the setting around them, from the welcome and signage to the bar, tables, and details waiting at each place setting.
The work may include beautifully made paper, custom signage, linen menus and bar pieces, wrapped surfaces, napkins, and other details created for the celebration. Each element can continue the visual story introduced through your invitations or begin with a new direction created especially for the wedding day.
When we begin with your save-the-dates or invitation suite, the colors, artwork, typography, and materials introduced on paper can become part of the ceremony, reception, tables, bar, signage, linens, and other details throughout the celebration.
I look at the wedding as a whole, considering where each piece will be seen, how guests will interact with it, and how it relates to everything around it. The result is a celebration that feels connected from the first welcome to the final place setting.
You’ll see each piece come together through carefully prepared proofs and visual mockups. We’ll refine the wording, materials, scale, color, and placement so every detail feels right for where it will be seen and how your guests will experience it.
If we created your invitations, we’ll continue the colors, artwork, typography, and visual story introduced there. If your invitations were created elsewhere, we’ll develop a new direction around the setting, atmosphere, colors, and overall look of the wedding.
Share the date, setting, guest count, design plans, and the details you’re considering. We’ll talk through the ceremony, reception, tables, bar, welcoming moments, and anything else your guests will experience, along with timing and investment, before I prepare a proposal for the project.
Once the designs are approved, each piece moves into production using the papers, textiles, print methods, fabrication, and finishing details chosen for the wedding. Everything is then prepared for delivery to you or your wedding team. For larger-scale displays and signage, I most often coordinate with your planning team for installation, with select installation available for Hawaiʻi Island and Chicagoland celebrations.
Before guests take their seats, the wedding is already unfolding through welcome signage, ceremony programs, reserved seating, and the details that guide them into the ceremony.
Color, artwork, typography, paper, linen, and custom pieces become part of the setting itself, carrying the visual story into the first moments your guests experience in person.
As guests move into the reception, the visual story continues through the seating display, escort cards, menus, place cards, table numbers, linens, and details waiting at each place setting.
These pieces become part of the tables themselves, carrying the colors, artwork, typography, paper, and materials of the wedding into the moments guests experience throughout dinner and the reception.
Custom signage, bar menus, wrapped surfaces, napkins, matchbooks, coasters, and larger installations become part of the setting itself, carrying the visual story into the spaces your guests move through throughout the celebration.
Each piece is created for where it will be seen and how it will be used, whether it’s guiding guests, marking a moment, or adding another layer of color, artwork, typography, and material to the wedding day.
