Compare the scope, not just the first price
Ask what the quoted project includes: cards, envelopes, printing, addressing, finishing, assembly, and shipping. A smaller custom suite and a layered collection suite may have very different scopes. Compare complete proposals for the pieces you actually need.
Understand the proofing process
Custom projects include four revision rounds. Ready-to-Wed includes two wording revision rounds, with initial proofs generally prepared within three business days after the required information is received. Confirm your project terms and supply complete wording before the proofing stage.
Leave time after approval
Production timing starts after final approval. Ready-to-Wed digital printing is generally under two weeks, while letterpress can take up to four weeks; confirm the schedule for your exact order. Additional finishing, assembly, shipping, and mailing need their own time.
