Ava and Jameson’s Lake Geneva wedding paired cocktail hour on the lake with a reception at the historic Riviera Ballroom. Their invitation design became the starting point for a personal set of wedding-day details.

A soft palette with custom lettering
The project began with a pearl invitation design from the Ready-to-Wed collection. Soft blush, chardonnay, and cream cardstock formed the palette, with Lively House spot calligraphy for the couple’s names and venue.

A vintage postcard liner
A vintage postcard of the Riviera Ballroom became the envelope liner. A soft blush wash helped it sit naturally with the rest of the suite, adding a location-specific detail without introducing a competing palette.

The invitation carried into the reception
The table numbers drew from the liner details, while a custom maritime flag carried the spot calligraphy into cocktail hour on Lake Geneva. Each piece connected to the invitation in a different way.
